Target audience

  • Principals and Teachers

  • Primary School Students

  • Secondary School Students

Things I did

I led the multi-disciplinary team, which I focused on:

  • Workshop Flow Design

  • Workshop Material Design

  • Workshop Coordinator & Facilitator

  • Briefing other facilitators for help

  • Gather insights and strategies for the architecture designer to develop on

Challenge

The workshop had to bring together principals, teachers, and primary and secondary students. Each group had different communication styles and priorities, principals and teachers were focused on systemic well-being needs, while students needed playful, accessible ways to express their ideas.

Tools and Approaches

  • Journey mapping

  • Rapid Prototype

  • A key factor in the workshop's success was my ability to build trust through empathy and communication, listening carefully to parents and teachers to validate their concerns, while engaging students with warmth, playfulness (gamifying the prototype process), and creative tools to make them feel comfortable contributing.

Achievement

  • Over 160 teachers and students were engaged in 5 co-design workshops

  • The team developed 4 design proposals for 4 schools' well-being development
